This little island off the west coast of France is a slice of seaside paradise. Boats and bicycles (the older the better) are the preferred modes of transport, and if oysters are your thing (they are most certainly mine) then you can pick up a dozen for under 5€. In fact, it’s standard island practice to give you a bonus one. That’s 13 oysters for less than 5 euros! Madness! But welcomed madness, along with all the other delicious seafood on offer.
